CNA Training in Missouri (MO)

All States in the United States are required by law to approve their CNA training programs.   There is a  fixed minimum number of hours for the cna students training.  CNA training in Missouri is approved by the DHSS (Department of Health and Senior Services), and must not be less than 175 hours in duration. Taking any one of the approved programs for CNA training in MO, a candidate has the potential to successfully launch his or her career in the health industry and get a job which is fulfilling as well as paying.

CNA training in MO consists of a minimum of 75 hours of theory taught in a classroom and lab. Apart from this the candidate undergoes 100 hours of clinical training which is hands-on and teaches the various skills required in routine patient care. The practical training is taught and supervised by a licensed Registered Nurse in a clinical setting.

After a candidate completes the CNA training program he is eligible to appear for the exam for CNA certification in MO. This competency state exam is also held in two parts wherein the candidate has to give a written exam and also demonstrate the practical skills he has learnt about patient care. Upon clearing this exam the candidate has to further pass a check on criminal background and then his name will be included in the state’s CNA registry by which he is eligible to find  CNA Employment“>CNA employment in the state.
