Finding free cna training programs

Finding free cna programs isn’t necessarily as easy as it sounds. Are there ways to get free CNA training? Absolutely. However often times people call something free, and we all come to find out that nothing is EVER free!!
Now there are however various ways to get someone to pay for the cna program… thus making it a semi free cna program. Those ways are what we are going to discuss in this article.
The number one way to get free cna training is simply through the federal government. The government can provide free cna programs by paying for your schooling. Often times if you make a certain amount per year the government is more than happy to foot for the bill for any community college you are willing to go to. In fact you can often times have the entire schooling paid for and receive the federal pell grant (worth up to $2000 dollars for a semester). I have a Family member currently who has the government paying for his cna training and is also receiving financial aid on top of that. So your actually getting paid to go back to school!! The only problem with this method is that you need to be under a certain income level in order to receive the governments services as far as financial aid through the schools.
Another way a lot of people are getting free cna training is through unemployment agencies. Currently the government is working hard to get people back to work. One way they they are accomplishing this is my funding peoples education. If you happen to be unemployed like 10 percent of our population currently is in the United States, get to your unemployment agency NOW, because they will be more then happy to pay for you to go back to school.
Lastly, and this way can be a little bit more work then the other methods mentioned earlier, you can find an employer who is in dire need of CNA employees. Often times these employers will be willing to pay for you to go to cna classes. The turn over rate can be relatively high for CNA’s, so if an employer can get you to sign some type of contract that will keep you from leaving his business, often times they will be willing to pay for you schooling. A lot of times you can find out even more information about this topic by visiting other cna schools, either online or in your local community. Ask them if they know of any employers that offer this. Remember CNA programs want you in their classes, they want to fill up their schools seats. Often times they will jump through hoops in order to get to get you in there.
Good Luck
